Description
After knocking Destiny out cold, Kevlar hastily threw some things in a old brown bag, tied it up and with Jerome carried the unconscious girl to the boat dock.
He carefully placed her in the boat, tossed the bag in with her,
starting the small motor, they headed across the lake towards the East Side Prison.
Thirty minutes later they pull up to a small finger of land that stretched out from the mainland.
"So this is the East Side is it, " Jerome said as he was looking around in amazement, "Damn this is some nasty shit!"
"Grab the sack out of the boat" Lane ordered, "and bring it with you, I will put her down over by that wall."
"Lane I hope that you know what the fuck your doing man" Jerome said, " if that crazy bitch finds out we didn't put an end to this girl, well shit dude it ain't going to be pretty."
"How the hell is she going to find out Jerome" Kevlar barked, " we ain't going to tell her, and this chick sure as hell isn't going to swim back across that lake just to get back in that hell hole of a building again."
"Yes you're right, but still , dude why are you doing this, I mean taking this chance?"
Lane Kevlar turned to Jerome and sternly spoke, "If there is one thing in this shit world I admire, it's a fighter, and this girl is a fighter, I'll be damned if she is going to meet her end helpless with a bullet to the head, do you understand me!"
Jerome backed up and looked startled , "Whoa dude, chill, I didn't mean anything by it."
"I was just thinking, Karen might..."
"FUCK KAREN !" Lane interrupted before he could finish, " she don't know her ass hole from her Pussy !"
Jerome placed the bag down by Destiny's feet, looked at her for a moment, then turned to Lane Kevlar as if waiting for him to give the order to leave.
"All right let's get out of here before she wakes" Lane said.
"What did you put in that bag Lane, if I might ask?"
"A blanket, some cloths, a little food, and a gun" Kevlar answered.
"A gun" Jerome questioned.
"Yes a gun" Lane replied, "At least she'll have a chance, maybe not much of one, but one just the same, and that is the best I can do for her. "
Sorry friends I know I said I would not post till tomorrow, but I wanted to end this chapter
Now I can start working on the last chapter of the back story, then take a three week vacation before the Main story starts.
So we end this chapter with Destiny alive, still in danger but alive, we will not see her again till the Main Story starts in January.
